Valentine's Day...woopdeedoo
John Lennon once said "All you need is love." Then he got shot. I have another hint for some people: If you didn't witness it, shut your mouth. Youth group was unusual and unpredictable as always. I should have known a good day is always followed by a bad one, as with youth group. The study was good, but the game was all shouting and yelling and a bunch of crap. My V.day was unromantic, just the way I like it. I made "gothic" V.Day cards and got sick drinking cherry and strawberry soda. I got to kissy/kissing teddy bears from my parents. My stepmom got the same thing from my dad. Anyway, after the last youth group, I'm not so sure I'm looking forward to the winter retreat. Makes me a sad panda. And we almost beat the junior high volleyball team today!!!! We made it up to 23 points, and the highest we ever got in the last few games was 13 points. I think the reason we were so close was that the other team was too short to hit it over the net half the time. And I think our new mascot should be penguins. Go Penguins!!! Yeah, anyways, life goes on and I've come to realize the people in my highschool are more rational and down-to-earth people than the one's at youth group. Isn't it funny and quite ironic how my highschool has less drama than my youth group? Kinda sad if you think about it. I think I find more solace at school than church. But like Robert Frost said "I can sum up all I've learned about life in three words: It goes on." Or something like that. Ok, well I must stop complaining and being "judgemental", "hypocrytical", and "perfect" as some people will say I am. You're annoying. I'm not saying I'm not, I'm just saying you are. (My favorite quote of mine.) Ok, I'm going for real this time.
